What's new in Eclipse for professional service networks

Eclipse ships improvements every few weeks. Here is what's been added recently, and how signing agencies, process-serving firms, court reporting companies and inspection networks are putting each feature to work.

    Pre-broadcast review and batches

Before an appointment is offered to your network, review who will receive it, include or leave out individuals, and arrange the batch plan: who is offered it first, the interval between batches, and the estimated time to fill.

How networks use it: offer a signing to the title company's preferred notaries first, then to certified notaries within 15 miles, then to the wider network.

    Client preferences for professionals

Save preferred and disfavored professionals, certifications, credentials and tags on a client, office or department. Every appointment for that client opens with matching filters already applied, and an Exclude Tags filter leaves out anyone you shouldn't send.

How networks use it: only background-screened, NNA-certified notaries for a lender, only licensed servers for a county, and never the reporter a firm asked you not to send.

    Call-In Line

    New

A toll-free number that recognizes callers by caller ID or account code, routes them by service, and connects them to a professional or your office.

How networks use it: on-demand consultations, tutoring hotlines, and a client status desk.

    Assign across a series

Assign, invite or unassign a professional for one appointment, selected appointments, or every later one in a series, with availability and conflicts checked on each date.

How networks use it: staff a multi-day deposition, a weekly tutoring schedule or a recurring inspection route in one step.

    Documents on every appointment

Save instructions, templates or client requirements to a client profile and attach them automatically to new appointments, with role-based view permissions.

How networks use it: lender-specific signing instructions, a firm's service requirements, or an inspection checklist, always on the job.

    Client and appointment notes

Profile notes can flow onto a client's appointments in the section you choose (Billing, Payment, Customer, Provider or Private), as a thread.

How networks use it: "scan backs within 2 hours" for notaries, "bill to matter number" for billing, and private notes only your office sees.

    Editable notifications per appointment

Review and adjust the email and SMS each professional will receive before you invite or assign, with a warning when someone can't receive email or text.

    Announcements

Send a one-off email, SMS or push message to professionals, clients or staff, filtered to exactly who should receive it.

    QuickBooks vendor bills

Send professional pay records to QuickBooks as vendor bills (provider invoice or remittance) alongside client invoices, with automatic vendor matching. (Eclipse tracks what you owe your 1099 network; you pay through your own process.)

Billing and payment schedules per client

Each client, office or professional can have its own billing or payment schedule and time zone, with a warning when an appointment lands on a closed day.
